Isle of Wight Pest Control Accredited Member – National Pest Technicians Association (NPTA)
Ryde-based 5 Star Pest Control recently passed their ‘Accredited Member’ audit for their Trade Association, the National Pest Technicians Association (NPTA). The NPTA have two levels of Membership, with the elite group known as ‘Accredited Members’. They are subject to a regular audit by the Directors of the Association and 5 Star passed their latest audit with flying colours.
5 Star Pest Control have in fact been an Accredited Member of the NPTA since 2010, so they knew that they were up to the high standards required, but owner David French was pleased to have this confirmed.
The audit was carried out by NPTA Director lain Turner, who noted that David “was one of the most knowledgeable pest controllers I’ve come across for some time. Not only was his general pest knowledge first class, but it was very obvious that he had made efforts to keep himself up to date with all the recent changes that have occurred in the industry.”
David is also a Member of the independent Professional Register of Managers and Pest Technicians (PROMPT), which also has high standards of entry and requires Members to keep updated with Continuing Professional Development.
NPTA Director Turner comments that “pest control is not as easy as many think it is and I would urge those who need pest control services to be very choosy when deciding on a professional to carry out work for them. 5 Star Pest Control is certainly one company that can call themselves professional.”
